We went back to Salem, MA for the day on the Saturday before Samhain. It was windy and raining, but we still had fun.
Skye and I went with my sister, my nephew Isaiah, and Katy. We first went Brothers to use the bathrooms and Isaiah ate. Then we went to the jails and walked around getting some pictures. It was too early to get into the cemetary, but we walked around reading the stones next to the cemetary.
We then went to the Pirate Museum/Store. This was history for Skye and Isaiah. Isaiah (9) has been learning about pirates, so he was able to contribute to what the guide was saying.
When we were done there, I took the children to see The Friendship, but we could not go on.
I took them to a nice restaurant on the water, while Sheila and Katy went off on their own for a little while. Evryone at the restaurant was dressed up for the Samhain weekend. One girl was dressed as a pirate.
When we were through eating, I called heila to come get Isaiah. Skye and I shopped the rest of the time we were there. I stocked myself up on herbs and stones, purchased a couple of books (Yuke and Candlemas) and picked up a few other things that I needed.
We had a lot of fun, though the stores were too crowded for my liking.

I think that I forgot to mention a few important purchases that I made in Salem when we were there in August.
I purchased a crystal ball (amethyst) with a stand. a sword, and a wand with a stand.
Brightest Blessings
